To the greater glory of God and for the promotion of the work of evangelization in Esanland, Most Rev. Donatus Ogun, Bishop of Uromi Diocese laid the foundation stone for Father’s house at St Ambrose Mass Centre, Emaudo Ekpoma. This ceremony took place on Friday 25 May
2018. The event was one of great joy for the priests, the consecrated persons and the lay faithful of the St Ambrose Catholic community.
In his introductory remarks the Bishop expressed joy at the fast rate of the development of the Church that came into being in July 2017. While thanking the faithful for their great faith and commitment to the growth of their local Church, he equally exhorted them to contribute generously towards the project. The Bishop noted that the house in question is their house since it will serve as residence to priests who will live there, in their midst, to minister to their needs.
At the end of the blessing of the new site, Mr Anthony Aigberaedion gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the Christian community. He specially appreciated the Bishop for creating time out of his tight schedule to perform the foundation stone laying ceremony by himself.
May God bless St Ambrose Mass Centre. May He who has begun this good work provide all that will be necessary to bring it to completion in no distant time. Amen
